In his popular TV/radio appearances, Steve deftly reveals how Communication research can be used to unlock the secrets to successful human interactions. As an educator, Steve has taught Interpersonal Communication, Public Speaking, and Public Relations on several Southern California campuses including California State University, Long Beach, Loyola Marymount University, and MiraCosta College. He is the co-author of the how-to book “Scared Speechless: 9 Ways to Overcome Your Fears and Captivate Your Audience” (Career Press, March 2016). Notably, he is also the Show Publicist for the Academy Awards®, overseeing domestic and international publicity for the annual telecast broadcast live in 225 countries and territories.

Steve enjoys a robust social media following and loves interacting online. He earned his Master’s degree in Communication from Arizona State University and holds a B.A. in Communication, Political Science, and Art from Concordia College (MN, USA). He lives in Los Angeles.
